This is one long track of very slow warbly ambient drones with an occasional sprinkle of percussion.

Experiments with making slow, 7.5 bpm, electronic ambient drone music using the: Elektron Model Cycles, Empress Reverb, GFI Specular Tempus.

The Elektron Model Cycles is a simple machine with a lot of limitations by design. 2 channels of output. Onboard reberb and delay are very basic. Panning some sounds hard left and others hard right gives you 2 discrete channels of output to work with. You can then send some sounds to one external effect and other sounds to another external effect.

Ambient pad type sounds were sent into the GFI Specular Tempus. Percussive sounds were sent into the Empress Reverb + Empress Echosystem.

I wish the model cycles had a dedicated multicolor noise engine. Regardless, there are a few ways to coax it into generating noise.
